What else can happen?

I think Westerdawg is right when he says it would be in Georgia’s best interest bowl-wise to kill the Jackets tomorrow.

He’s right about one other thing: if you can’t appreciate what has been one of the greatest seasons of college football I can ever remember (that’s about 40 years, FWIW), you need to follow some other sport. I hear curling is looking for some new fans.

I can’t wait for tomorrow.

The season has been awesome Senator, but it’s looking more and more like we’re gonna be stuck with two teams playing for a title that most people aren’t even sure are the top five in the country, much less the top two.

I know, I know. If not them who? But let’s be honest, Would you like Ohio St. chances against LSU, UGA, UF, ASU, USC, any of the top three Big 12 teams right now?

    How about WVU’s?

Great season but headed for a pitiful championship game.

  2. With the way this year has gone, it’s far from a given that any such game would be pitiful.

By the way, I notice you have more than four teams listed in your example. Does that mean that you now favor a larger playoff format than four schools?

Nope, I just want to see OSU or WVU prove it against more than one team in a season like this. Four teams still works fine for me.

BTW, did you see the article on Hawaii. Seems they were more than willing to play Michigan, Michigan St. and a number of other teams who turned them down.
