More on the coaches poll

Tony Barnhart breaks it down here, with a link to each individual ballot.

Of course, this is only half of the story. I’d sure like to see what the coaches’ individual ballots from the week before looked like.

It’s kinda interesting that coaches no longer employed (Callahan, Doba, Franchione, etc.) still get to cast their votes.

I guess they have recently-fired coaches still voting because taking them out would violate the “sanctity” of the poll (scare quotes because, you know, irony and all that).

I can’t believe Ears voted Hawaii ahead of us. It affects nothing, but it just seems rather odd. I want to pipe in subliminal suggestions to all our players fo the next 9 months to gear up for next season. Among them will be frank discussions of what Ears should do with his ballot.

    On to the Sugar Bowl!
