Today’s eyeroller is an editorial in the Bismarck Tribune. You only need to see one line to know where they’re coming from:
… Are bragging rights to a national sports title as meaningful as helping to bring about peace on earth? Hardly.
Hoo, boy. I bet you didn’t know that Glenn Dorsey was scheduled to fly to Jerusalem today to settle that pesky Israeli/Palestinian thing, but cancelled because he couldn’t catch a return flight to get him to New Orleans on time.
By the way, guys, the next time you want to wax indignant, try to get your facts straight. The NCAA has no direct connection to tonight’s title game.
Senator:
NOW I finally understand the SI reference to “100 Montanans”. Obviously, if Stewart Mandel asked 100 people from North Dakota, they would be sophisticated enough to understand that Georgia is a national power.
Thank you for the great blog.

As long as none of ‘em worked for the Bismarck Tribune.
Thanks for the praise, by the way…
Do they let the citizens leave the Dakotas? Seriously when’s the last time you saw a car with a North or South Dakota tag on it?
I do a lot traveling for my job and I’ll try to find a license plate for all the states to pass the time while I’m in the car. Pathitic, I know. But I have yet to see a Dakota tag, even when I’m up in that area.
Interesting…
I just had a dream last night and the vehicle involved in the dream had a North Dakota license plate on it. I don’t recall ever seeing one in my life. I can only imagine what one would look like.
