Here are a few items littered across the college football landscape that have nothing whatsoever to do with each other and aren’t worthy of an entire post:
- Maybe it wasn’t the speed that killed Ohio State in the last two BCS title games, it was the mindset.
- You want to get rid of a head coach you don’t like? There’s more than one way to skin that cat.
- Zebrie Sanders, if you’re going to commit, commit. Especially with a guy like Urban Meyer.
- Some newspaper guys in Wilkes-Barre, PA are jonesing for football playoff brackets, and they don’t care how stupid they sound in asking for them.
- I’ve stopped being shocked at the things that shock the NCAA.
Wow, I’m still laughing at the quote from his father where he says Zebrie asked coach Meyer to “hold” a scholarship for him. Seriously? He wanted them to hold a scholarship just for him?
Sux for him and us. I was really hoping that with his ties to Georgia he would choose the Dawgs. Now he’s left out of both.
I wish him well, he’s a great athlete. UCLA or Florida State will be lucky to have his talent for sure.
I hope this Sanders situation opens other recruits eyes. Take your visits, enjoy the moment but once you’ve made your decision don’t wait ’til 3 weeks before signing day to try to committ.
Did he or his dad honestly think Urban Myer (or any SEC coach for that matter) was going to hold a scholly for him? If so then they both need to be pimped slapped with some reality. He’s not the only 4-star linemen in the country.
