Why is it that when Ryan Perrilloux signs with Jacksonville State, it’s a sign that the head coach has sold his soul, but when Alabama is faced with a rash of player arrests, it’s just a sign of the times?

And why is it easy to dismiss Auburn’s six game winning streak in the Iron Bowl as somehow lacking in dominance by arguing that it doesn’t “have the feel of another one of college football’s storied rivalries — USC-Notre Dame — which is also now at six in a row”?
