Thank God. Hobnail_Boot hit it on the head. Fox bastardized the college game when it introduced the post-kickoff TV timeout during the Sugar Bowl this year.
I’m readying myself to get pummelled for this opinion, but….
am I the only one that’s a little sad/nervous about this?
I HATE Fox’s coverage, but I also hate the fact that ESPN gains sooooo much control and even more influence than they already have. Anybody remember Herbstreit’s hypocritical arguments over the last few years concerning the mnc game? And that’s just one example.
Also, this is pretty old school I know, but I also hate the fact that the BCS games are moved to pay television. Just seems kind of unAmerican to me.
Woooooo Hooooo!!!! Finally some good news. Thank you WWL.
Hopefully that also means Adios, post-kickoff/pre-drive TV timeouts.
The good news is we don’t have to watch these games on FOX.
The bad news is, this makes it harder to get rid of the worthless BCS joke any time soon.

Praise. The. Lord. But don’t worry, world, you can still get your fill of extraneous band shots and Thom Brenneman sermonizing during the Cotton Bowl.
How the hell are we ever going to know how many push-ups the robot can do?
