Coach Bowden, it could be worse.

So academic fraud might cost Bobby Bowden a few wins in his chase for number one in all-time coaching wins.

Maybe he should be grateful that the behavior being punished occurred in 2006-7.  FSU only has to look at a pool of fourteen wins to figure out if any have to be vacated.  If this had happened ten years ago, they’d have been sifting through a lot more than that.  And potentially he’d be that much more behind JoePa in their race.

See?  There’s something to be said for letting a program slide into mediocrity.

    FSU needs to get the GT lawyer that appealed their case. No way they should have to vacate if the Nerds didn’t have to.
