Chris Low posts one of those fairly mindless exercises EPSN has its bloggers go through – a preview of ten things to watch for in the SEC over the next decade. Nary a mention of Georgia there.
I guess I can go ahead and cancel my season tickets now.

Does this mean we can use the “Georgia always does better when it’s under the radar” tag for the whole decade?
And just to show how silly this is, here was what that same list probably looked like at the turn of the decade into 2000:
1. Florida’s continued dominance under Steve Spurrier
2. Ole Miss will win the SEC West
3. Mississippi State will win an SEC title
4. At least 1 more SEC title for Mike DuBose
5. Georgia and LSU continuing to spin their wheels in the SEC due to Florida, UTK, and Bama’s dominance
6. South Carolina’s inevitable emergence/rise to glory
7. How Kentucky will never win 3 straight bowls
8. How Vanderbilt will never go to a bowl, much less win a bowl
9. How Jackie Sherill will go down as the crookedest, most renegade coach in SEC history
10. How Georgia Tech will continue to own UGA
It certainly seems like a pretty short sighted “look at the coming decade.” All of those items are the flavor of the month, but as we all know, that’s a bad approach for that type of column.
Also, how in the hell does Lane Kiffin’s name come up in a column about the coming decade for the SEC. Get over it dude. It’s a done deal. Tenn caught a break by him leaving. The guy was bad for Tenn, and he was bad for the SEC. Your feeding his ego by dwellig on it.
I like his prediction that Bama will win two more National Championships!!!
I would rather read a sardine can than chris lowe. Unfortunately the wife does not allow sardines on the property.
