I know all of you will be shocked, shocked to find out that Nick Saban and sports agents have wildly varied advice for college juniors who are considering a decision to come out early for the NFL draft.

    Um, some other Bama players may also be counseled concerning their playing status for 2011 as well.

    There will not be a lock out. Nobody is going to kill the goose that lays the golden egg. There wil be a rookie scale and it is needed by both the owners and the players. Paying a rookie QB more than Peyton Manning is stupid. Why the owners have not just said we’re not going to pay grossly over inflated salaries to rookies, go play in Canada. It’s not like the rookies have a choice that is even in the same area code as the NFL (except at Auburn).

    Why is he cautioning them? Seems he would want as many to leave as possible to make room for all the oversignees!

    Yeah. but it would be nice to see AJ green return for another season.
