In some ways the SEC is starting to remind me of the SWC during the 1980′s, except that the SWC wasn’t playing with as much money.
And unlike the SWC brainiacs, most (an average run-of-the-mill NCAA investigators’ most educated guess would probably be at least 10 out of 12) of the SEC conglomerates are savvy enough not to reduce to writing their employment contracts with players, their daddies, or 7 on 7 camp instructors.
