Mornin’, campers.
- Carver High and Georgia football, BFFs.
- In the SEC East, nobody came out of spring practice without big questions.
- One more time: pro basketball and football entry rules are designed to benefit one party and one party only.
- According to Tony Barnhart, the Johnson will rise again.
- Which do you suppose comes first, Mark Shurtleff’s antitrust suit or the BCS ruling on the Fiesta Bowl?
- The man who predicted Ron Paulus would win two Heisman Trophies now says Urban Meyer will be coaching Ohio State in 2012.
- “I found that since Jan. 1, 1991, there have been 47 schools guilty of what the NCAA called major violations. Eight programs were listed more than once, with Alabama leading the way with three.”
“the Johnson will rise again”.
Not bad. Not bad at all.
I think Johnson may be getting soft.
According to Tony Barnhart, the Johnson will rise again.

I think Rueben Houston might have something for that.
Good article in Sporting News on WRs featuring AJ Green. He’s graded on each facet of athletic interest.
Matt Chernoff opined that Johnson’s Johnson goes down when he gets cuckolded by recruits.
Paul Johnson is my hero. Urban Meyer is my second hero.
What was our major violation in football since 1991?
Selling of SEC Championship rings which in turn created a rule that got AJ Green suspended.
Ray Goff?
The uniforms we wore in Jacksonville in 2009.

I like to make fun of Beano Cook and all his chins, but I think he has a good chance of being right about Meyer. If the NCAA does something serious to tOSU (and it should) Tressel leaving, either as a resignation or firing is a real possibility. If he is gone, Meyer as a coach there becomes almost a certainty. Unless Meyer has really serious concerns about his health, I think he’ll be ready to coach again, and he has ties to Ohio. And his wife and kids will probably be tired of having him around all the time. So, there won’t be much – aside from a doctor saying it would kill him – to keep Meyer from taking it.
The OSU is a much easier gig than Florida, too. Not much competition in the Big 10 although that may be changing with the move to that conference by Nebraska.
“In the SEC East, nobody came out of spring practice without big questions.” Zenga Zenga

With Jenkins’ arrest, I guess we’ll find out what Muschamp’s version of The Florida Way (TFW) is all about now. Will it be TFW Jenkins or Jenkins FTW?
Can we excommunicate Tony Barnhart? Or has that been done already? I swear it’s only journalists from Georgia who feel the need to blow smoke up our rivals’ asses to make themselves feel more unbiased.
