That choice of ride, though… ugh.  The ugliest car Porsche has ever built.

    I knew Porsche made an ugly SUV, but I didn’t realize they were making fugly stationwagons too.

    Why in the hell did Porsche start making SUV’s and these ugly assed four doors? Stick with what you do, man. Basically what you’ve got there is a poorly-drawn imitation of a Jaguar. Porsche shouldn’t be imitating anyone.

    That said, way to go, AJ. Hope you’re saving some of it, too.

    AJ has not developed a sophisticated tastes in cars yet. I’m sure he will enjoy it. 20 year old driving a Porsche has gotta be a thrill. The young lady was attractive. It appears AJ is enjoying the results of some hard work and talent. I am glad he isn’t driving a hummer or something similar and glad to see is lady wasn’t tatted and wearing a nose ring.

      Forgive my stalk mode, but she and him have actually been together for a while. IIRC, she’s not that far out of high school. And has pretty much won the boyfriend jackpot. Well done.

    It took them 40+ years, but finally Porsche met its goal of coming up with something, the very fast Panara breadwagon, that surpasses the ugly on the old 914 with the VW engine http://alamedarides.com/porsche914/Porsche914b.jpg
    even though the few 914′s built with the Porsche flat-six didn’t seem quite as ugly but maybe that was because they were moving so fast

    Admittedly, I have never been a fan of any Porsche but I sure hope this isn’t indicative of his ability to handle money. Maybe I over-estimated his being mature and grounded. Seems odd timing to me with the draft so close. I wish AJ the best, and I hope he represents UGA well in coming years, but he seems to need an advisor more than an agent.

    Have to agree, that is ugly even for a Porsche.

      Come on, man, lay off the kid. He’s 20 or 21 years old and he’s about to be a millionaire, and you’re drilling his maturity for buying a porsche? The first thing I did when I got enough money to do it was buy a nice car that I could call my own. If I was making what he’ll be making, it would’ve been much nicer than the car I bought.
