I know the tension was killing you.

You can relax now.

UPDATE: Wow – even Barnhart is moved to sarcasm.
In a shocking development, Stephen Garcia wil now be allowed to participate in voluntary workouts this summer at South Carolina.—

UPDATE #2: David Pollack prefers to state the obvious.
The fact that Stephen Garcia is not only cleared to workout now but still on the team is a joke. Spurrier wants to win bad.—

Wow, that was a complete blind side.
I hope this all blows up in Spurrier’s face and Golden Boy Garcia either tanks or gives them no choice but to kick him off, and their season implodes as a result. Either way, it won’t happen before Georgia, so it really doesn’t matter. I’d just like to see Karma take a bite out of his a$$.
“Gives them no choice but to kick him off.” He given them every chance to kick him off the team and they’ve made their choice. Garcia could murder someone and SOS would pay his bail and still keep him on the team.
You don’t give Garcia enough credit. It is a long holiday weekend ya know.
Ray Charles could have seen that one coming!
Spurrier wags dog and announces that Garcia cleared to participate in voluntary summer drills on same day as Jim announces his voluntary resignation.
Spurrier’s tolerance for this kind of crap has changed markedly from his days at Florida
SOS no longer has the largest supply of top quality talent in the South at his doorstep.
Plus the talent he has at his disposal gets stopped at the door with failure to qualify.
Surprise surprise surprise gollly that Steven Garcia has more lives than an alley cat. He showed up drunk at a life lessons gathering put on by the wife of the AD. I guess if he had pissed in the punch they might have held him out for a couple of more weeks.
You’re all a bunch of cynics. You know he hasn’t been reinstated to the team.
69Dawg- That depends on how much alcohol is in his urine. As proof, you haven’t heard about it have you?
Fourth of July may be another bottleneck. Longneck bottle, I’m sure.
As I have said before, these two deserve each other.
As much as I think Steve O.’s decision is a joke, I also think it’s a no brainer if you aren’t the kind of guy Coach Richt is. People will forgive this if he wins enough (Unless Garcia has another incident that’s a little more “major”). There’s no forgiveness in losing. Just ask Ga fans.
