I was going to put out some Chick-fil-A, but the Georgia Tech security guard stopped me.
- In a shocking development, Stephen Garcia is expected to be reinstated today.
- Also today, the Big 12 plans to meet again about the Longhorn Network.
- Seth Emerson breaks down the preseason battles in Georgia’s backfield.
- If A.J. Green’s jersey cost Georgia its 2010 season, I think that’s due more to how it screwed up game prep over the first third of the season than how the team played on the field without him. But that’s me.
- Chris Brown reviews “Swing Your Sword”.
- Here’s Georgia’s updated preseason practice schedule.
- Brandon Boykin perceives Arthur Lynch as a very big, very fast human being: “Arthur probably weighs 150 pounds more than me and he was only a couple of steps behind me.”
- New blog’s 50 reasons to love college football this year.
- And I’d characterize Bill Connelly’s Georgia preview as gentle without being unduly optimistic.
“Stephen Garcia has changed his lifestyle, almost completely,” Spurrier said Thursday. “He’s been on time, no goofing around. He’s being very serious. He’s showing a commitment we’ve never seen before.”
I wouldn’t be surprised if this statement was a complete lie.
Was that quote from 2008, 2009, 2010, or 2011?
All of the above years.
I think that about says it all.
He switched to light beer!
Did he have a sex change operation? Get real! He’s the same guy. SOS is just spinning the media with that BS.
It appears Chris’s review caught the attention of Spaeth Com.
That person is in dire need of an editor.
…or maybe it’s part of the ruse.
I wonder if Spurrier felt that way the other half dozen times Garcia was suspended and reinstated.
Senator, would you be able to fill us in on how you think the chemistry will be for the 2011 Dawgs? Thanks.
Chemistry? Ask me after the first two games.
“Arthur probably weighs 150 pounds more than me and he was only a couple of steps behind me”
I know a guy who was set to walk on at Georgia some years ago as a Wide Receiver. In the first practice another freshman, an O Lineman with the nickname “Moonpie”, beat him in sprints. That was the end of his walk on efforts.
UGA’s summer practice schedule doesn’t seem to include very many two-a-days. Just sayin.’
More than last year’s schedule.
Touche.
Is TE Lynch actually going to play, or are we getting hyped up for a guy who’s going to be on the bench 80% of the season?
I’d sure like to see him get a look at OT. It seems to make all the sense in the world, given our depth at TE and lack of it at OT. IT’s a transition that is made fairly frequently, and has been done successfully in Athens- Alec Millen, Ian Knight (though he ended up on the interior.)
Anyone read the snippet about Mike Leach peeing on the dog that was peeing on his sleeping bad? Say what you will but he’s fun to observe around college fb

Sorry. By your title I thought this was a continuing thread about the chick with the chic Fil-A.
