Because it’s dawning on us like it is on Brandon Boykin… the buffet is here for you.
- Since winning the ACC Championship a few years ago, it’s been all downhill for Wake Forest.
- The Mountain West may have as much riding on the Kickoff Classic as Boise State does.
- Blair Walsh gets a pass on preseason happy talk for telling the truth after the embarrassing loss to UCF.
- Gary Stokan makes the case for an SEC team giving up a home game against a cupcake to play in the Kickoff Classic.
- As far as I’m concerned, any proposal which adds more college football games is a proposal worth considering.

- Watching Oregon State football can make computers smarter. Or something like that.
As soon as the meeting was over, McGarity was ticketed for “emerging from a hallway”, “improper lane change in the parking deck” and “urinating in a public bathroom”
The more I hear about what McGarity is doing the more I think Damon was just raising money. It seems as though McGarity is crossing the Ts and dotting the i-s. What could have been had he been hired in the first place?
Raising money wasn’t the ONLY thing Evans was doing and thank God for that.
If money was the only thing Evans was raising, he would probably still be here.
I’ll show myself out.
Wow, next time I should really look for the contraction in your comment before posting mine.

It’s great news that Bryant Gantt is involved with the mentoring program. Just a super, super guy.
I’m sure what was implied yet not said in the McGarity/Williams meeting was you guys lose your hard-on for arresting athletes, and we’ll get them to stop thinking they don’t have to play by the rules. So far so good.
Yep, I agree about the unsaid portion of the meeting. I’m sure that was in the back of everyone’s minds.
Exactly, they arrest them for offenses that are not mandatory arrestable offenses. That is what I have never understood.
I like Jim Grobe. I wonder what he could do with SEC talent and not always having to play the role of underdog. Plus, they beat tech for that championship so I think that makes me even fonder of the man.
That’s why Iowa is my favorite Big 10 team.
I hate to be redundant but…..Thank Goodness for Red Panties!
Get the Senator to move to SB Nation and you could make it your signature.
Damon was pulled over by a super-trooper whose attention to detail would not miss any unaccounted for u-trou

None of any of that stuff in that article means sh!t. DE was driving drunk, refused the breath test and tried to use the fact that he was UGA AD as a basis for talking himself out of the mess he was in. I have it on good authority that he DID talk himself out of situations like this previously, in Athens. He was a ticking time bomb. It wasn’t a question of if he was going to get caught, but when. He had been getting away with this kind of conduct for virtually the entire time that he was AD. His luck just finally ran out. UGA is better off without him as has clearly been demonstrated in the last year.
You mean all this time he was getting into white girls’s pants by snaking them away from their boyfriends? And you knew and just stood by while all this miscegenation was happening? You’re the Mayor and you didn’t out him? And the other good authorities just let him talk his way out previously? In Athens? He had to be the most silver-tongued big dick Shadow in Athens. Wow!
Does this mean that we should build a stature of him? If so, tell’em to bronze his cojones because it sure sounds like he had a pair.
