  • Breakdown by conference:  SEC – 5; Big 12 – 4; Big Ten – 4; ACC – 3; Pac-12 – 2; MWC – 1; CUSA – 1.
  • Georgia finds itself nipping at the heels of one team it lost to and three spots ahead of the other team it lost to.
  • It looks like we’re down to a top six now.  And that’ll be weeded out with the results from OSU-Oklahoma and LSU-Arkansas.  Which is probably good news for Alabama and Oregon.

2 omissions of Alabama in their top 10. Really?

To be fair the omissions of Oregon and OU are pretty crazy too. Give me 10 other better teams that either of them.

I don’t know what’s more offensive: the omissions of Alabama or the one guy who voted Alabama #1 despite the whole home-loss-to-unbeaten-LSU thing.

I can see (but don’t agree with) keeping Bama at #1.
However, not including Bama in the top ten is flat out ridiculous…
I see two people that should be kicked out of the Mumme Poll.

    • Mayor of Dawgtown

I guess that means that Bobby Petrino and Les Miles won’t be able to vote in next week’s poll.

Wait Papadawg, you would put a flawed Alabama team with poor offense and kicking game with one loss as #1 ahead of the undefeated LSU team that beat UA head to head??? Seems crazy to me.

How much you bet one of the guys who left Bama (or OU or UO) out is the same guy who put Mizzou (5-5, 3-4) in.
