They’re getting the band back together.

Ted Roof is rejoining George O’Leary at Central Florida.

I don’t know about you, but I’m gonna miss him.

Dang, I sure will miss him. Between him and Coach Boom, we had some good times at the Auburn games. Maybe Auburn can bring in Martinez for a little 3rd and Willie.

NOOOOOOOOO! I’d hoped he’d never leave the Plains. I guess, deep down, I knew it couldn’t last forever. Russ, good call on Willie.

I’d personally be OK with Chizik trying to run the defense himself. Not that he’d be that stupid… gotta have a scapegoat to cover his skills, which are about commensurate with a head coach of Iowa State.

  4. Better call the bagman in to scour some JUCOs for defensive reinforcements. Doesn’t Papa Newton have a handy rolodex for just these critical occasions?

    Willie Martinez for Auburn DC!!!!

Who was Kansas’s DC? Carrot Top? Maybe he can get the AU job.

Senator, a friend of mine asked a question about your blog I could not answer, but offered my speculation nonetheless. The pic on the masthead of your blog—-were James Brown and Vince Dooley friends? Do you know when, where and the circumstances of the pic?

    Thanks.

It’s a tragedy for me to see the dream is over. And I never will forget the day we met. Ted Roof, I’m gonna miss you…

I’m glad that Auburn fans are finally realizing what the rest of us did last year…that their defense just wasn’t very good and they won a national championship* solely on the back of a single JUCO mercenary.

Here’s to hoping for another regression next season for Meathead Larry Coker’s squad.
