Teach a kid to shower and you clean him for a lifetime.

It sounds like Jerry Sandusky’s attorneys intend to raise a hygiene defense.

Some of these kids don’t have basic hygiene skills. Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body.

Maybe they intend to call Son of Dooley as an expert witness at Sandusky’s trial.

I’m sure the jury will understand. Just as soon as they finish barfing.

Got to be honest – I would be happier if I hadn’t read that. If I wanted to be unhappy, I’d just visit CNN.com.

Every time I hear something about Sandusky, I feel like I need a shower. This is just gross. A horrible human being.

Every time I hear something about Sandusky, the last thing I want to do is get into a shower. Just sayin’.

… oh, he got all of that one! He’s gotta be pleased with that! The crowd is just on its feet here…

Yeah, and only an old creepy coach who gets in the shower naked with them can teach them proper hygiene. This guy believes the same bullshit he used to manipulate kids will work on adults

Tell that idiot lawyer to stop talking. Just. Stop.
You are making it worse. I wouldn’t have believed that possible. But in my opinion, keep talking & you will have to go to jail with him.
    Seriously. Shut up!

I won’t be joking about this subject. And, I apologize to the lawyers out there whom I will be insulting, but seriously, screw slimy defense attorneys like this monster who is propping up this bigger monster. I believe in our legal system, and I believe in every individual’s right to a vigorous defense. However, when that defense involved outright lies, that’s where I have a problem. Unless Jerry Sandusky thinks that anal rape is part of a hygienic shower, this is completely bogus. It’s unfortunate that the state of Pennsylvania is going to have to spend so many resources on putting this monster in jail, but it’s money and time well spent. He’s going to die in jail. I think that’s beyond fantastic. It will never happen, but it would be excellent if he got to spend some time in the general population.

If you believe in our legal system as you say then you believe in the less-savory aspects of it that offend you. Prosecuting and defending is not all not and clean and friendly.

I hate these two guys as much as anybody, but this is the system. Deal.

There’s nothing in the world which can’t be improved. I don’t like it when people lie to try to free child rapists. Deal.

“Jackson argued that his relationships had been entirely innocent, and thanks to a formidable defence team, he was acquitted on 14 June 2005.

Like OJ Simpson, however, he would never shake off the burden of suspicion, and the trial marked the moment at which his always unsettling brand of celebrity finally soured. It was clear, too, that mounting such an “A” list defence had all but cleared out a fortune vastly diminished by years of crazed extravagance.”
I once complained to my attorney about the legitimacy of the opposing side’s suit. He responded with ….” you know better, it’s not about who is legit….. it’s about how deep your pockets are.” Now that caused me to reflect and I thought about an old tune….”Couldn’t help but make me feel ashamed to live in a land Where justice is a game.”

For what it’s worth- I don’t believe Jerry Sandusky’s pockets are deep enough to get him out of this mess.

I get the idea this lawyer was maybe once abused by Sandusky and is now trying to get revenge a la Sleepers.

The connection between the two is that Derek was dealing with a staph infection at Tennessee and the attorney is dealing with a staff infection at Penn State.

And some people oppose the death penalty? Personally believe it should be expanded to include cases like this.

Sandusky is pure evil and should be destroyed like a rabid animal.
