      I’m actually just glad to see Dawg fans view Willie’s tenure in Athens with humor now. I’d don’t think a little good-natured ribbing is that bad. At least the memories aren’t inducing obscenity-laced tirades like they used to.

    Fwiw i thought willie was actually a good secondary coach until he got promoted to DC. guys like tim jennings and greg blue certainly seemed to benefit from the tutelage of BVG era Willie. Although watching OU’s secondary this year is making me reconsider….

        Don’t worry, we’ve got Mike Bobo. He went to UGa, and is a really good position coach. Florida will have nothing on us. Not like their new OC knows anything about adapting scheme to the players on a roster, or calling plays to the strength of his team.

    CWM would probably be more successful in the Big 10 due to less passing rather than the Big 12. The weird thing is that he was a secondary coach but as a DC, his secondary typically played terrible.

    Sorry, I missed it. Did Martinez get fired (let go) from OU or is he just up for other jobs (step down to Illinois)?
