May I just say that after all the griping I’ve done about the players and the coaches lacking faith in each other, this quote from John Jenkins about his bowl game interception is such a pleasure to see:
“On the interception, I was in the right place at the right time — reading my keys and doing what the coaches taught me to do,” Jenkins said.
I like reading that.
I think our defense will be beat you bloody good!
Sweet Talk right there.
If they can all make it to August without any more arrests we might be alright.
I liked his quote about “we have the Dog Nation behind us”. He’s got fan perspective. In the article he gave us a peak at team attitude coming back. The “unfinished business” attitude is apropos.
Senator, we are climbing the rocks from the dungeon of angst expressed in that blog. Hope we all make it together as a mark of our University’s will to be better.
Is there a way to “love” this quote, more than “like” it?
The prune juice is tasting like koolaid!
The wise player with NFL dreams always credits his coaches first.
(I’m not saying, however, Jenkins is insincere.)
