This kids career is spiraling out of control. Thought his HS football coach was suppose to be looking out for him. Sure appears someone needs to have a sit down with him before it is too late. I mean pretty sure there is a step in between UT and all the way to GSU.

HB, that is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to self-imposed holier-than-thou foot shooting that is going on at Georgia’s Administration/Athletic department. It’s astonishing that they have any toes left.

Maybe I am blinded by my loyalty to UGA but with the policies on first time offenders being what they are at each place I wonder how many times kids at schools get “first time offender” status and internal punishment without anyone ever knowing. Then with some of those places how many times a repeat offender continues to get first time offender status so that in effect there is never a suspension but due to being at a place that values football above all else and where the locals would never do anything but support the team it gets swept under the rug and everyone thinks they don’t have issues. Maybe I am naive but it is hard to believe that with stiffer penalties than anywhere else and Richt having shown he will kick players off the team that players at UGA simply ignore the rules more than they do at other places.

What I wonder is if some of these kids from inside the state who are top athletes are going to the Auburns, Bamas and South Carolinas of the world expressly because of this. Kids make rational choices about where to attend college in spite of what older fans/alums might think.
