Tater Tot sets a low bar for himself.

Terry Bowden’s got big plans for this season.

“Our goal this year is to win one more game than last year,” Coach Bowden said. “We just have to work to get that win and then build from that.”

Akron went 1-11 in 2011.

If the Zips win three games this year, do you think he asks to renegotiate his contract?

Everything Terry Bowden says is a jock cliche.

Why do we care about Terry Bowden? You would think that this is an FSU site with everyone musing over the Bowdens.

+1. Who gives a rat’s ass? That said, the Senator is just trying to give us some info on a slow day.

Actually, I thought it was a putdown as to how many rungs down in life you can get hammered. I don’t think that’s fair or worthy of comment unless you run a highpoint of someone’s life alongside.

        It’s different with Criar.

Speaking of the Bowdens and setting a low bar, I wanted to share this with everybody if it’s okay with the Senator. I finally found my long-lost copy of the 1984 Citrus Bowl between the Dawgs and Florida State. The game ended in a tie but Kevin Butler did everything he could to win the game on the last play. He attempted a 71-yard field goal that barely missed by a couple of feet. For you youngsters who never got to see Kevin Butler kick, this is an awesome display of the strength of his leg. The announcers are in awe afterward. Hope you enjoy this…

Dawg19.. Thanks for the memories. I was at that game. I thought Butler had made it at first. It was quite a game and a lot of fun.
