I know just how he feels sometimes.
According to ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi, Alabama coach Nick Saban arranged Sunday for ESPN to be blocked from all of the TVs in his players’ rooms.
Aiight, how many people can do that?

If Saban really wanted to piss the Alabama team off, he would have blocked Honey Boo Boo, Turtle Man, Redneck Island, Hillbilly Handfishin’, Judge Judy, Real Housewives of Atlanta, and all the porn channels.
Don’t forget Duck Dynasty
It was the Extra Sexy Pornography Network though. Bunch of Pervs over in Tuscaloosa.
I appear to share something with Nick Saban: A dislike of the WWL. I feel conflicted all of a sudden.
Must be a nice problem to have… sigh…
But….did he block internet access to GTP?
Saban could probably arrange for ESPN to be blocked for the entire state of Alabama if he wanted.
All it takes is a pair of wire snips and a master key.
“how many people can do that?” Hmmmm….apart from Saban? ….hmm… Kim Jong-un, of North Korea?!?!
Rumor has it he had Bamazon looped in all the rooms.
Better question, imo – how many people would want to do that? If Saban finds out one of his guys puts the toilet paper on the roll the wrong way, he may lose his scholly. Unless, of course,he’s really good.
Unfortunately, they were still able to get EWTN and they had wall-to-marble-wall coverage of the Irish all day.
It’s all Saban’s fault! I know how the Tahd must feel about that. I stayed at the Champions World Sports Resort in Orlando for the Capital One Bowl. They had 30 channels, but not one sports channel. No ESPN, Fox Sports, NBC sports, nothing. For a “sports-themed” resort that is literally down the street from ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex not to have any sports channels was ridiculous. The resort had multiple pools, a nature trail, baseball & softball fields, multi-court basketball complex, and no ESPN. Now I know it was all just a plot by Saban to ruin my stay. Saban sucks.
Stolen from Twitter:
“BREAKING: Brian Kelly texted Nick Saban at the half to ask how to get Notre Dame’s hotel to block ESPN from his players’ rooms tonight.”
touché.
He is probably trying to prevent the hype of “Alabama Dynasty” from penetrating the psyche of his players. I believe Saban when he says Bama starts preparing tomorrow for the 2013 season. He don’t need no stinkin’ ESPN puffery blowing up their egos.
If I were a coach, I’d protect them from the identity-shattering, confidence eroding and jut outright bullshit that those gutless yahoos pander as “analysis”. Think Murray and the Heisman blather that placed Manti Te’o in the limelight ahead of Jarvis.
