Envy and jealousy: Classic Johnny Football.

From start to finish, this is freakin’ hilarious.  And it makes the underlying point about production on the field trumping everything quite well.

    Johnny Douche!

The Alabama week was worth the rest of the article by itself!

As funny as that piece is, it highlights how badly we need real college football to analyze and talk about…as we have exhausted all the other topics this offseason.

I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there.

    Muschamp’s wife, hahahahahaha!

    McSharon….that’s awsome!

Johnny enters the rodeo ring with a giant American flag on a pole in his bootjack and riding a beautiful palomino filly that was rumored he spent the night with in a stall (when asked why, he replied “Because the Wyndam wouldn’t let her stay”). The horse continually made whinnying sounds as it pranced around the arena with Manziel holding onto her mane with both hands while riding bareback. The horsy set opined that they were evocative of what they had heard all night in the stable area.

When A&M played FU later in the season, he was arrested under Fla’s beastiality law after riding a white horse all night and into The Swamp at game time. A fan with jorts and a mullet hairdo stated, “That’s just like Johnny. He’s too good for our pigs.”

I think he’ll meltdown this year on the field. His teammates can’t be pleased

If only Murray would have thought to quick punt vs USCe last year…..

I especially liked the Ryan Leaf/Jeff George/Tim Tebow labels he managed to throw on his back.

Am I the only one that thinks that what is being said about Manziel is over the top and piling on? That article, while humorous in spots, is actually libelous IMHO. It makes up sh!t that he didn’t do and presents it as if it were true. The only thing that saves the author is the “actual malice” standard and that the piece is an opinion/parody. Give the kid a break and get off his back.

Yes, you are the only one. Sounds like Lionel Hutz has some competition.

Mayor, in today’s corporate world, pity the poor CEO who blinks. The good news is, in trying times like these, fortune tends to favor those who make a bold Johnny Football® Pledge® to simmer down the masses:

“To Paul RTR and the Hater Nation, like Nickelback, I get more in an hour than you will in an entire lifetime. I’m not sorry. Extremely not sorry. But I promise you one thing: a lot of good will come from this. You will never see a player in the entire country play as hard as I played this off-season* (and that was only practice, man!) this season. You will never see someone party as hard as I will the rest of this season. And to top it off, I promise you will never see me party hardier than I will party the rest of the season. God bless and Gig ‘Em!”

      * See the girl in the red pants with the camera? Get the picture? I thought you did. She took mine.

And what’s so wrong with partying and getting a little? I’m betting you did both while in college.

        • Dog in Fla

I am stunned that you would make such outrageous allegations. Just to set the record straight, I fully disclaim any and all prior endorsements or recommendations of party hearty and get some behavior exhibited by heroes like Snake Stabler; Joe ‘She’s Having My Baby Even Though I Only Kissed Her?’ Namath; Nickelback; Johnny Football® and McSharon

          • Mayor of Dawgtown

I see. You are of the Tim Tebow school of thought when it comes to QB college behavior, eh?

            • Cojones

Kidding aside, Johnny’s father is upset that he is drinking too much because he is stressed out, thinks the local cops are harassing him, and that he may be called to bail him out of jail soon. He fears what Johnny’s temper is going to do to him under these circumstances. So now the family is into it and it doesn’t pan out as just good ole Johnny having a college fling.

Stay tuned for the next “journalist” to fill out the next chapter. And involvement via his father.

  12. It’s gonna be funny(and sad) to see the same folks who think it’s cute, now, turn on him if/when he falls.

I read an article by Barrett Salee last night. This guy just keeps propping him up and rationalizing Manziel’s BS. It’s like teaching and allowing a dog or child to have bad habits and then wondering what the hell happened when they cross the line. College kid being a college kid my ass! College kids I knew like that never graduated.

    • AthensHomerDawg

You had me for awhile but then you lost me. I guess you hung around with ordinary “college kids”> Jobs, Gates,Cameron. Jobs was pretty off the wall with the no shower and no shoe thing while working for HP. I placed my kids in private school after 5th grade. Public school wasn’t getting it done. Make no mistake I value the education they get at Georgia. I just don’t look down my nose at the loose cannon, college dropout types. Biggest break I ever got was being hired by the owner of a company that was one of those loose cannons dropouts. He taught me a lot.

Well, since we’re baring our souls here, I was told by HS educator types that I would never amount to anything and they were right–I graduated from HS, college and law school and have been a lawyer for almost 40 years. I ran into one of my old teachers at the Masters many years ago after I passed the bar and she almost had a duck when she found out, thinking I was more likely to be a Defendant than an attorney. Fooled ‘em didn’t I.

Bobby layne, sonny jurgeson, joe namath, ken stabler, Brett favre. Say what you will but I kinda like the guys who can show up hung over after chasing tail all night and whip you come game time. I hope all these media guys who think he’s gonna crumble under the glare are proved wrong.

    • shane#1

Don’t forget Max Mcgee. Max was near the end of his NFL career and was not expected to play in the Super Bowl so he partied all night and showed up late and hungover. The Packers starter was injured in the game and Max had to go in, wearing a borrowed helmet. He had forgotten his! Old Max caught two TD passes and the Packers won another ring.

Right… Quicey Carter could always…. wait hmmm. NOT.

Off topic but is anyone getting the GT 3 game pack ad? Pick UGA plus 2 GT home games but it’s a link that makes you put in a promo code? I would take them up on that, any help is appreciated. Thanks
