What, no blood?

Shockingly, three high-profile members of Georgia’s first opponent this season were able to attend this past G-Day game without incident.  No beer bottles thrown at them from the upper deck, no urine sprayed on them, no threats, no cursing.  Nada.

Somebody should alert Stingtalk that it’s possible for a fan of another team to attend a game in Sanford Stadium peacefully.  At least if you don’t behave like a douchebag in the first place.

Persecution complex is not mollified by facts or logic.

During one of the Tech games during my time in school (early 2000s), I witnessed a Techie get the shit beat out of him by a SORORITY GIRL in one of those sexy little black dresses they wear to the games. He was sitting in the middle of the end zone student section and taunting the crowd after one of Tech’s scores. He proceeded to get into a verbal altercation with the girl’s boyfriend when she came over the top and clocked him right in the face. He went down, and she jumped on top of him and continued to pummel him with blows. She was finally convinced to stop, and the Techie, quite disheveled at this point, dragged himself out of the student section much to the glee of the bystanders. One of the funniest things I have ever seen.

Not gonna lie…it was pretty satisfying to throw a few “What’s the good word?” at Tech fans as we left Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2009. Strangely, they didn’t find it nearly as funny as they did before the game.
