Just stop.

Aaron Murray doesn’t play like he’s got a chip on his shoulder, but judging from this, he may have the opportunity to develop one.

But, hey, at least we’re assured he’s better than Jevan Snead.

That author should never have put fingers-to-keyboard for that article.

He is looking for the public outrage ala Tebow, yet says, “There’s a part of me that thinks Murray will have the biggest year. As MrSEC.com points out, Murray had a ridiculous 20-to-1 touchdown/turnover ratio in the second halves of games last season. Georgia has been too close for too long not to break through.”

Even he apparently thinks it is not a WA pick, ala Snead/Tebow. He either wrote that to fill a daily post quota or just for the web hits.

“That doesn’t mean Johnny Football is Jevan Snead.”
No he isn’t but there are similarities to Todd Marinovich. Todd didn’t respond well to all the pressure and hype and loved the night life.

Any one of those 3 could have been voted first team.

Marinovich’s dad started training him at infancy. Boy never had a burger or a cookie till he got to college. If any kid ever had more reason to rebel…

There’s a segment on Grantland by Andrew Sharpe, in which he intentionally writes “The worst sports column ever.” Basically, it has the all the same ingredients as this column.

That column is the same theme as the one you linked coupla days ago: Aaron Murray made 1st team preseason All-SEC, but it’s all about Manzeil. Pay up again Coach Richt.
