Just spike the damned ball.

Carl Pelini, perhaps auditioning for a future opening at Georgia Tech, orders his quarterback to spike the ball on fourth down in last night’s game against Miami.

The play worked just like he drew it up.

Point spread was 31 going into the game, so at least he covered

I guess these pro spiking armchair qb’s really have got into these coaches heads.

Yes, finally a coach not afraid to spike the ball! Since this wasn’t a “big game” he won’t be judged by this performance.

Nice to get one last kick in the nuts before the beating ended.

The commentator said “all teams make the most improvement going from week one to week two.” So he’s got that going for him.

    Miami says, “mmmm, spiked cupcakes.”

As a PSA, new rule about spiking the ball is that there has to be 3 seconds remaining on the clock after the ball is spiked. If not the game is over, so maybe he was planning it all along but the QB was too quick on the trigger.
