A little Dabo’ll do ‘ya.

Oy, dude.

Swinney said Tuesday after watching film of the 51-14 trouncing, he believes if the teams played 10 times, “We’d probably win five, they’d probably win five.”

Swinney says he isn’t taking away from the Seminoles’ dominating performance.

Right.  Sure.  Just the five other mythical times out of the next nine games they’ll never play against each other this season.

I cannot stand yaba daba dabo. He openly trashes Coach Richt and Georgia to recruits. To the point of questioning CMR faith. I hope he loses to Maryland and heck the rest of the ACC the rest of the way.

    • Keese

Not sure if you were at the Clemson game but during pregame, Clemson athletic department ran a 5 min segment interviewing current players and recruits to tell them all “the reasons they chose Clemson over UGA”. Classless.

      • dudetheplayer

Are we really going to get worked up about Clemson, though? A second-rate school, a second-rate program, and a second-rate state. Fuck Clemson.

        Let’s worry about Florida.

  2. Brandon

Well if we don’t get rid of CTG they’ll torch us again next year and since its the first game we’ll trot out the “time to jell” excuse.

  3. W Cobb Dawg

“We’d probably win five, they’d probably win five.”

He must have been talking about the initial flip of the coin.

  4. uglydawg

If that’s the way he reasons, then he’d need to say that Georgia wins nine out of ten against Clemson…with the one Tiger win being a total fluke.

  5. I live here in Greenville, SC and you’d be surprised (well, maybe not) at how many Clemson fans have been calling into the sports talk radio up here and agreeing with Dabo. To be fair, there have been plenty that disagreed too, but how ANYBODY can agree with that statement is unreal.

I’m glad Richt didn’t come out and say something like that after our 2008 blackout nightmare against ‘Bama………..a game which paralleled Clemson’s game in many ways (Clemson was #3, at home, night game, gameday was there, basically the exact same scenario as UGA was). I would’ve been even more mortified than I already was after that game.

    Bless his heart.

Is anyone besides me sick and tired of the made-up Clemson hype? One would think they have a football history similar to ‘Bama. The whole thing of getting on the bus….riding around the stadium….getting off the bus and rubbing a rock…is just bullshit. They’re trying to re-invent their reputation into LSU’s or something. I enjoyed the thrashing they got from FSU, mostly because I was subjected to watching their silly and contrived “traditions” before kickoff. It’s almost as bad as the Vandy players dragging that stupid anchor out before a game. On second thought, it’s worse.

    • uglydawg

And while I’m at it..let me say that Vandy’s decision not to allow any animal mascots into their stadium after this year is crap..and I think it’s because either Smokey (UT) or UGA pooped on the sideline..(I hope it was UGA!). Next year the Vandy sideline at Sanford would be very rich with dog turds if I had my way.

    • Keese

You forgot the bs firework smoke screen they put on the field for opposing teams kickoff returns

In today’s episode of “ugly gets ugly,” ugly declares war:

“The whole thing of getting on the bus….riding around the stadium….getting off the bus and rubbing a rock…is just bullshit.”

“It’s almost as bad as the Vandy players dragging that stupid anchor out before a game. On second thought, it’s worse.”

ugly recommends unleashing biological weapons attack on Commodores:

“And while I’m at it….Next year the Vandy sideline at Sanford would be very rich with dog turds if I had my way.”

When told by a panel of hazardous waste materials experts that would only work 5 out of 10 times, Keese drops further bad news on ugly:

“You forgot the bs firework smoke screen they put on the field for opposing teams kickoff returns.”

ugly then wonders whether dabo will ride around Sanford on bus next season, get dizzy and then throw flaming spear in general vicinity of 50-yard line

    • DWH

The whole bus ride thing was insanely stupid and lame the FIRST TIME they did it this season. I literally couldn’t believe my eyes that they made a production out of it again.

    • Peteydawg

And they totally copied fsu’s underdog/big road game turf graveyard. Poseurs

  8. Todd

Clemson fans are cult like. I live around them and it is incredible.

  9. Normaltown Mike

Dabo was the kid on high school who had a girlfriend….only she lived in Canada, you’ve never met her.

  10. Spike

The guy is named Dabo. What do you expect?

  11. Will Trane

Is there a difference in Clemson’s preseaon all world, all conference, all american, all heisman QB and the first year starter at FSU. Worlds of difference. Plus FSU has a very good O line, two starters from the state of Georgia. Guess, Clemson’s HC has little knowledge of geography. If UGA has to recruit against Clemson and Vandy…well we have a problem.

  12. Peteydawg

Dabo must have been concussed like all his players

  13. JAX

A little late to comment on this post, but hadn’t we beaten Clemson 5 consecutive times prior to this loss? Before the game, all their gross fans could talk about was the loss in 2003, and how bad it felt. And how they were still bitter. And blah blah blah. So yes, I think Clemson fans are legit redneck, traler trash fans but I can also understand losing 5 in a row to any opponent – think of Florida. Or imagine how bad Auburn wants to beat us.
