Richt on whether Florida ever got inside his players' heads in the last 13 years: "We never called them the blue team or the orange team."— David Paschall (@DavidSPaschall) October 29, 2013
Good thing, too. It might have confused them with Auburn.

He doesn’t want to be anybody’s Butch.
Every now and then, I wish we had an “applause” button to push for great one-liners.
Agreed. Well done!
I think they were more in the coaches heads. Of course the players wanted to win, but most of them only get on the field for a season or two.
Was this from Chuck Oliver, or was this from whichever reporter asked Richt about the “Dawg Vent” today?

Mark Richt does not know what the Dawg Vent is. “Sorry,” he says, smiling.
Excellent! Mark’s exclusive source for beneficial suggestions should be this site and this site only.
Am pretty sure that was Chip Towers (AJC) who asked him those last two idiotic questions. On top of the idiotic article “Did the Dawgs and Gators Flop” a day or two ago. Yellow journalism at its finest…
I gotta tell you having any sense of humor at all after getting beat by Vandy is something of a miracle.
After the two dumb targeting calls, one call one of the worst I have ever seen in 40 years of watching football, I thought the stomp call at UT was the worst. You have to have a sense of humor.
Senator, I’m guessing that you didn’t hear about Tennessee referring to Alabama as the “red team.”
Why was it “inscrutable” then? I knew what he meant. He was saying that uf was never in our head as bad bama is in UT’s.
Did Jones piss of Richt? I don’t remember him ever directly mocking someone.
