We got your bucket list right here, ‘Cock fans.

When life throws you a fastball down the middle, peeps, you gotta turn on it.

I’m sure we can improve on Kendall’s list, right?  Please add your suggestions in the comments.

I was thinking last night, I know he was a troll, with no proven connection to the Gamecocks, but that banned asshat may have done permanent damage to my attitude about South Carolina.

To the point where I want to add to the gal’s story….George Rogers and his fumble in Athens.

    Fuck South Carolina…dude pissed off.

Your South Carolina Gamecocks: The 79th winningest team in NCAA Football history!

SC fan bucket list: Want to be present in the stadium after we win an SECC and watch them tear down the embarrassing fake “Champ” flags in place now.

Oh, I don’t know what else we could add. How about–
See the Gamecocks win an SEC championship.

Since that is unlikely to ever occur, how about just settle for seeing the Ol’ Ball Sack and his boys give up less than 50 if they ever make another SEC championship game.

100 things? Really? Is one of them move out of SC?
one of these things is not like the others…
    South Carolina and..
Triumph has more than 70 “100 Things” books. Auburn, Alabama and Florida are the only other SEC schools to have one.

Are numbers 1 through 99 “have Penn Wagers assigned to call South Carolina’s game against (fill in blank)?”

Being a Plebe on the scout team offense at Navy in 1984, when #2 ranked South Carolina roll into Navy-Marine Corps Stadium with sacks of Oranges that they cheerfully tossed onto the field after their first touchdown. After which, Navy scored 31 straight points on route to a soul-crushing 38-21 defeat of the shell-shocked Gamecocks.

I would like to add this to the 100 Things.

Navy’s senior DT Eric Rutherford had a performance a la Bill Stanfill vs Spurrier in 1966. Watch this for some fun schadenfreude. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4jhjh4tAEA

Also, Navy’s defensive end, #44, was the great Eric Fudge from Glynn Academy in Brunswick. He had a forearm that hit like a sledgehammer. I had the unenviable task of facing him daily in practice. Back then, in the “Concussions are for p_ssies” era, you could hammer a player in the head with a forearm and Fudge made you pay every time the ball was snapped.

I’ve known Josh for years. He is a great writer and even better guy. However, if he can find 100 relevant facts about USCe football, he deserves a Pulitzer Prize!

So “we won the SEC East once” constitutes a turnaround for a program? May back into another this year but still finish 6-2 in conference play. Now that’s what I call a dynasty.

  11. Rick Perry

    Little off topic, but ..

I’ve always wondered, if a bucket list is a list of things you want to do but haven’t, what do you call a list of things you should do but don’t want to? Is it a “fuck it” list?

  12. Over 100 years of USCjr football and no appearances in a bowl game of any significance – THIS IS CAROLINA FOOTBALL!

    This sums up the program…

“It’s weird to think that there’s a coming generation of Carolina fans that don’t know the history of the program and what it meant to be a Carolina fan for so long, which meant loving this team and not getting much payback,” Kendall said.

Out of respect to UScar fans, the book only has 3 things on the list since they can’t count higher. The other pages or for coloring-in.

    100 things….

    1. Get a new stadium
    2. Get a new stadium
    3. Get a new stadium

    99. Get a new stadium
    100. Get a new stadium

“#44 Technically, from above, Willy-Brice does not look like a cockroach. Not exactly. Not a living one. More one that has been squished just so it’s legs stick out a bit.”
“#100 What it feels like, in Fahrenheit, in the shade, at the stadium in early September. The parking lot that surrounds the stadium is easily far hotter. Seriously, what idiot designed this layout? And Braves fans complained about there being nothing around Turner Field…”

    • “The parking lot that surrounds the stadium is easily far hotter. ”

Let me tell you a quick story. In ’90 some SC knucklehead had the bright idea to have a bunch of bands play in an all day music festival in that blacktop parking lot. In freaking JULY, on the 4th. The soles of my shoes melted, and I’m not kidding. Folks were falling out due alcohol + the heat, and receiving 1st degree burns when they hit the asphalt. Never been so hot in my entire life! We made the trip to see Athen’s own Widespread Panic and my friends from VA, Indecision. Fun but miserable if you know what I mean!
