Back in the saddle again

Banged up, but back home.

I really appreciated your best wishes, both in the comments and emails I received.  Group hug, everyone.

I was able to follow stuff during the week, so football posts will follow.

Welcome back Senator. Lots of good stuff from Media Days to discuss. Looking forward to it.

That’s great — so glad to have you back, Senator.

  4. jack

    Good deal! Mend well.

  5. I’ll put this to you gently Senator…but you CAN walk…

  6. We left you some bourbon to wash down those pain pills. Should make for a great typing adventure. GATA!

  7. Rebar

Glad to have you back Senator! Rest easy

  8. Bright Idea

While you were away Jesse Palmer declared Hutson Mason more mobile than Aaron Murray. Proof that he never saw Murray play. If he’s right we’re in for a pleasant surprise.

Good thing you’re not a Bama fan or Saban would be forcing you to take a medical DQ and transfer to Jacksonville State.

  10. Beakerdawg

Glad your back. If you need anything from Amsterdam, let me know.

    Thank God,
for at least 7 years I have awoken everyday to your stories, the last 7 days have been unmerciful. I was ready to check myself into focus for the DT’s. I realize our pain has been no where near yours, butttttttt. Glad your back hope the worst is over and the blogging is bright.

Good to have you back! Hope you’re not riding sidesaddle.

Great news, glad you have that in your rear-view mirror. We need some help digesting all the morsels we were fed during SEC Days, a few of us are starting to think UGA might be pretty decent despite the ridiculous amount of unknowns. One thing about it, our players should be motivated with all the love being given to other SEC teams/players. I like the way Richt and the players are reacting and look for a different feel for this 2014 group.

Good comments from Coach Richt on the eight-hour rule during summer workouts. Confirmed what we suspected all along about accountability in the Georgia program in previous years.

Glad to see you are on the road to recovery. Hope you are back in playing shape soon!

  15. Just Chuck (The Other One)

    Welcome back. Speedy recovery!

  16. Big Shock

Happy to have you back, Senator. Hoping for a quick recovery. Never realized how much time I spent on this blog until I had to go most of a week without it. On the bright side, my productivity at work has doubled…but quality of life has taken a big hit.

  17. americusdawg

    Senator,

So good to have you back. Having withdrawals here. Did you see where they’re list “Thomas Brown’s” blog right along with GTP and the others on the DawgBone? I emailed them politely asking them to not validate his idiocy by listing his blog on a legitimate Dawg site sitting right next to established, non-troll blogs. Haven’t heard back yet

  22. Bob

Hoooah. Great to have you back sir.

  23. Moe Pritchett

some sanity has returned to my daily sports constitutional. ( no inference to the daily TP that eminates from that journalistic cesspool found on the street corners in Marthasville)
glad you are back Honorable Blutarsky. Would you like a Blue Moon?

  24. I Wanna Red Cup

Welcome back Senator. There were rumors that TB reported Mason has already thrown for 1000 + yards in 7 on 7 drills further consolidating his front running heisman status. Thank god we all can look forward to interesting commentary every morning again! Hope you are back to full practice speed soon.

  25. Debby Balcer

Soon as I figure out what combination of keys I have to press to declare a character as ‘threeve’, you’re getting a green jersey with that ‘number’.

  30. Timphd

    I’ve been miserable.

  31. Dawg19

    Glad you are well, Sir.

  32. Mayor

Welcome back Senator!! Heal up and be well.

  33. Matt R

Good Senator, I sincerely hope you are on the road to recovery and it comes easily! I constantly was checking the blog out, hoping to find that you had returned. It made me realize how important this blog is to my Georgia jones. I then realized, it wasn’t because of Georgia, but because it was you and how much I really like your style.

You, sir, are now an institution! You are beginning to rank with the likes of Larry Munson and all the other pantheon on Georgia legends.

    May you live forever!!!!!

  34. StatGal

Good to have you back. I hope your recovery is swift!
