Hubba hubba

Knowshon Moreno has been selected to Playboy magazine’s preseason All-America team.

Not to mention this:

… Gil Brandt, the former longtime Dallas Cowboys personnel executive who helped select the team, said he had no apprehension about selecting the redshirt sophomore.

“I watched him play and looked at tapes,” Brandt said. “A year from now, I’m sure the guy from North Carolina, the left tackle (Trinton Sturdivant) will be on our team.”

    Senator but I just have to remind you of last year and our conversation about the OL, Sturdivant and that kid out of Bama that you said Sturdivant was not in the same league with.

    I’m very happy with TS’ progress to this point, no doubt.

    As for any comparison with Andre Smith, keep in mind a few things:

    — He made the Outland Trophy preseason watch list as a sophomore.
    — He was first team All-SEC as a sophomore.
    — If he turns pro after the ’08 season, he projects as a top five pick.

    I’m not saying TS doesn’t have a huge upside, but Smith ain’t exactly chopped liver. I think the comparison is a compliment to TS.
