He’s just evil, that’s all.

Could you imagine Mark Richt doing something like this three years ago?  I couldn’t.

Alabama coach Nick Saban and Georgia’s Mark Richt make nearly $7 million a year combined, but they must not spend much cash on clothing. After Richt announced Sunday that the Bulldogs were “blacking out” this week’s game against the Crimson Tide, Saban wore a black shirt to his Monday news conference.

Asked about his color of choice, a smiling Saban responded, “Well, this is the only shirt I could find when I woke up this morning.”

At Georgia’s news conference Tuesday, the usual red backdrop had been replaced by black. Richt normally wears black against the red backdrop but wore a red shirt this week and had a retaliatory response.

“I’m big on black,” Richt said when asked about the blackout. “It’s usually my color of choice, but this is the only shirt I had in the closet today when I got up.”

After the season is over, there’s a laundry detergent ad begging to be made here.

They’re calling the Dawgs out, are we man enough to answer?

The more I think about it the more I’m believing this game sets up for us to kick their arse. I like all the Bama trash talking it has traditionally served us well in big games.

I posted the video of it on my blog late yesterday if anyone wants to see it. The best part is the subtle jab CMR gets in with a wink at the end: the emergence of evil Richt. I love it.

Evil Richt will see Saban’s smug and raise him a smirk.

Take it from a guy who’s main talent in life appears to be finding a way to piss people off faster and with less effort than anyone else would think possible: The most annoying thing is the world to someone like Saban is people who are neither scared nor annoyed at his Belechikian smugness/paranoia.

Evil Richt isn’t terrified by the Alabama assistant coach’s dire pronouncement that UGA is wearing black because it’s a *(&#^@) funeral. He laughs at Nick Saban’s puny attempt at mocking the blackout, and reverses it back on Nick by using his own quote. Nick probably beheaded a couple of stuffed animals when he saw that one.

Nick is a little huffy, his coaches are a little huffy, and his team is a little huffy for one reason: they’re a little scared. Evil Richt is waiting for them, and deep down in the pits of their stomachs, they’re feeling a little sick right now.

This game is setting up so very nicely for UGA. The only thing better would have been CMR coming out in a Crimson UGA shirt……

    Go Dawgs!!

What do you think Nick Saban thinks of when he thinks about playing in Sanford Stadium? One of the funnest days ever that’s what. It probably wasn’t that much fun for him though.

I think that 03 SEC Championship game still burns at Richt more than anyone knows. For the rest of his time at UGA, I can’t ever imagine a situation where we won’t be FULLY prepared to play either LSU or a Saban coached team.

Yeah, you have to realize that Richt really wanted LSU the next year in Athens. What was it 45-16? Saban was quoted after the game as saying that he didn’t see this one coming!

    Go Dawgs!
