I finished watching the replay of the game last night. I see no point in rehashing the minutiae of the second half (hint: it’s all bad), but I’ve got to say that the speed with which things fell apart in the third quarter was literally breathtaking.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go scrub the hard drive of my satellite box.

That observation supports C. Irvin’s quote more than anything about last weekend. As well, that quote could describe the first half of the Alabama game. One minute, we cause a fumble to stop a drive and get flagged for a personal foul on JPW, the next minute it is 31-0.

Absolutely correct. While no one on the team should be saying, “We think we’re still the better team”, it’s like we blinked and then realized canine entrails were strewn about the home of the ACC championship. I’m not sure there were many teams that could survive the blitz of misfortune that happened in that 3rd quarter, and I just wish we hadn’t been the victims.
