I’m sorry, so sorry, please accept my apology.

Does this mean that Corch Meyers no longer has his players’ backs?

This guy is the Lindsey Lohan of sports. Drama queen extraordinaire.

Only difference is Meyer is a winner. A whiny, bitch winner, but a winner.

Sounds like Spurrier doesn’t it. What is it with these FL coaches?

I guess the fans rub off on them.

As long as the win, and win within the rules, I think Florida fans will put up with coaches being a bit high strung.

Maybe what The Mind of Urban Meyer needs is a few years in Columbia…seems to round off the rough edges.

And one more time, Mr. Fowler, if you thought you knew what the kid meant, why didn’t you ask him?

Scorpio, You keep asking this same question. Watch the video of the interview with Thompson. Besides being a large group interview, HE STARTS WALKING AWAY AS HE FINISHES HIS SENTENCE. You know, the sentence about Brantley being a “real” QB. There was no chance to ask a follow-up question. Plus, Fowler said in his article and later on his blog that it wasn’t a shot at Tebow, Deonte just meant more traditional style QB. Urban flipped his sh*t and has now apologized, all be it without cameras rolling and much less public than his tirade. One person was wrong in all this and that’s Meyer. End of story. Can we talk about Georgia now?

Absolutely, he could’ve just written the article and never commented that the kid meant “prototypical QB”. The guy wrote a whole article not on that one quote, but the whole of what Thompson was saying about Brantley. Nothing was taken out of context, not one iota.

Actually, I think it was the NFL experiment that humbled Spurrier a bit. USCe just solidified it.

If he were a real man, a 45 year old man, he’d apologized to him the same way he ripped him, in public.

I thought Crier was a Poser and he just proved it. Don’t you think that he thought about exactly what he would say to the slug writer when he saw him in public? Of course he did! It made him look like the “I-champion-my-players and they will skewer themselves on a sword for me” type of coach to recruits. I’m telling you that I’m paranoid about this entire incident.

Yea, he should apologize to him loud and publicly, just like when he chewed him out for no reason. I just wish the reporter would have punched him right in his smart a$$ mouth.
