Brats aren’t on the menu today.
- Skip that 40-time nonsense. This is fast.
- Olin Buchanan tells “William in North Little Rock” to take that meme and shove it.
- With Pete Carroll gone to the NFL and Jeremiah Masoli just gone, who’s the Pac-10 favorite this year?
- The only thing holding back a 128-school basketball tournament is… the Masters.
- You figure they’ll call him “CT”?
- Sign of the times in Columbia.
- “… with rare exceptions, spending more on a football or men’s basketball program does not yield increases in alumni giving, net operating revenue, winning or academic quality.”
- The prodigal wide receiver returns. Hey, if wandering off and coming back is good enough for the head corch, it ought to be good enough for the player, too, right?
How kind of Mr. Buchanan to offer William in N. Little Rock such a nice warm glass of shut the hell up for us.

To put a little perspective on Demps’ 100 meter time, rank it among times for the entire year or prior 12 months. The world record is 9.79. The highest Herschel Walker ever ranked was about 21st fastest for a year, and he could outrun anybody of his generation in a football uniform, except one or two guys from Tennessee. Tennessee always seemed to have a couple of Bob Hayes types.

Watching Herschel run track was a blast.
He was faster than most, just couldn’t get out of the blocks quickly enough. He was usually gaining on the field down the stretch.

I don’t know a lot about track, but from what I understand his time should fall as the season goes along.
He did run a 10.01 in high school.
He’s obviously fast. I don’t think that was ever in doubt. He’s shown he’s a football player, too, I just wish he’d learn to catch.

Watching USC is like watching that odd cousin who continues to be a loser no matter what he tries to do. You hope every few years when you see him again that he has grown up and moved up but he never has…..throughout his life
USC is a loser and will always be a loser
