Kiffin watch: we can make stuff up in LA as easily as in K’ville.

You know, if I were Urban Meyer, I sure would be getting tired of Junior’s act.

UPDATE: Ditto Nick Saban.

  1. Three questions:
Do you suppose it’s only a matter of time before he starts blaming the so-called East Coast media bias for his oncoming irrelevance?
When can we start betting on that time frame?
    What’s the over/under?

You know I was hard on Damon Evans, I thought we should have fired him before I even found out about the woman issue. The DUI was enough for me in light of his position and the extreme likelihood that he would have to preside over the punishment of a player for the same offense in the future. With that said, I recognize he made a mistake, one that hopefully he’ll learn from and go on to rebuild his life. Junior on the other hand is a walking embarassment, impropriety isn’t just an error in judgment with him, its a way of life and he’s proud of it. Shame on USC for hiring and continuing to employ him, and shame on all of the Tennessee fans who defended him while he was there.

Lane still misunderestimates the rules and regs – Step 9 of Coaches’ Anonymous calls for the offending dude to make the apology to Irwin and Nick not the co-dependent AD

The fact that Mike Garrett is still the AD at USC is one of the big reasons that the USC appeal to the NCAA will be laughed out out loud good. USC has done nothing but blame the NCAA for it’s problems in both the basketball and football area since the investigation and has essentially shot the NCAA the bird. Hiring the Kiffer in the face of the investigation was like mooning the NCAA. Garrett must be like Mike Adams and have pictures of his board having their way with sheep, that’s the only reason he could still be there.

Serious question: How does Mike Garrett still have a job? On his watch, USC basketball and football have run into major NCAA compliance trouble resulting in serious sanctions. And the best he could do to replace a man who was well on his way to becoming a legendary coach in college football was Lane Kiffin? How does this man still have a job?
