“We remember the Sugar Bowl, I think it my junior year of high school, we let Alabama beat us twice,” Brinson said of a team that also lost to the Crimson Tide in the SEC Championship game. “We’re not letting Alabama beat us twice. In the Sugar Bowl in 2018, they… thought they should have been in the playoffs and lost to Texas.” -- AB-H, 12/27/23
The worst part is also mentioned by Caldwell, “The same people will be working the games.”

“What good does it do?” will become Robbie’s signature response to the bad calls made against Vanderbilt each game as he puts on a latex glove and looks for something to artificially inseminate.

I hope they made some sort of an announcement at the library, so the student body could be aware of it.

Officiating in the SEC has been a source of embarassment for years and Slive seems incapable of dealing with it, indeed, I am not sure he even understands it. As much revenue as football brings in, this should be a priority of the Presidents and ADs who are the only ones that can exert pressure on Slive.
Forget the subjective, vindictive problems that can be debated, the pure incompetence must be addressed first. Inconsistent, pathetic calls abound in conference games and bowl games where SEC officials are involved. Time to step up to this.
