It would only be fair for Hawkins to provide his prison jumpsuit, framed, to AJ Green for display on his wall.

As a former prosecutor let me say that I would stick it to his ass.

I’m thinking that this file just moved to the top of someone’s pile in the last week or so.

if he’s out on bail since ’09 he must have a lawyer. if it’s a public defender then the judge would have interest in his sports memorabilia collecting, not to mention his travel to miami and other points. and i would love to see the terms of bail. most times a defendant can’t travel so easily without violating terms.

if only schlabach were a law dawg.

Is there any possibilty that THIS is how AJ knows him? Has the NCAA left the UGA campus, or are they still poking around?

I should have read the entire article before I posted. The more that comes out about this Hawkins cat, the more I believe we are lucky AJ only received a 4 game suspension. Just how involved is this guy with the Dawgs? Miami to NC via I-20? Funny how the article mentions Madison only being 60 miles from Atlanta, yet fails to mention Madison is only 30 miles from Athens!

I think if there was contact with other players, those players would have been held out of games, don’t you?

I think we need to start considering the distinct possibility that AJ Green has in fact been visiting Cuba on a regular basis, and may be the subject of a federal investigation.

I noticed in the story, the NCAA moved AJ’s appeal hearing to Friday.

I guess Colorado will be better than not at all.

it’s the baseball-sized ball of blow “covered in peanut butter and pepper” that really let’s you know that you’re in deep, deep peanut butter.

This gives new meaning to ‘having a nose for the ball’.

“Ironically, Pate said Parker purchased the furniture from a penthouse in the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach, Fla., which was the site of at least two agent-related parties this past spring.”

Which must be why guests at the Fontainebleau love the smell of peanut butter in the morning.

  7. What if AJ really is in deep? Could put last year’s excessive celebration penalty in a whole new context. Maybe the ref’s saw something we didn’t.

Now that we know AJ was forwarded to Hawkins via UNC’s Robert Quinn, AJ better be glad he only got 4 games. You’d have to be stupid to think he gets a reduction in punishment now.
