Envy and jealousy: mascot as pervert edition

This is such a good line, I’m surprised I’ve never heard it before:

    My Bama friends tell me to put off having a pre-frontal lobotomy so I can convert to the One True Faith (Bamaism) until after the weekend.

    This could be because they see something we don’t, which is certainly true, or they think I am too old and slow to be part of their Faith.

    Their team is a whole lot better than ours, so I guess they know more than we do…right?

        As great as Nick Saban is supposed to be, he’s 3-2 vs Mark Richt’s Georgia teams.

          the only 2 times he’s lost against Richt were the year after his best team at LSU left for the nfl & his 2nd year at Bama. Both times, UGA had the upper hand in talent. When Saban has beaten Richt, it hasn’t even been close-in score or talent.

          Saban’s a tool, but Richt isn’t even in his “arena”

            Couldn’t you counter point that with 2 out of the 3 times saban has beaten richt it was because of his best team at lsu in one season and not bc of some consistency?

            That’s a really small sample pool to try to make that type of a statement.

              More revisionist history by a “fan” who for whatever reason doesn’t like CMR so he explains away UGA’s successes and amplifies UGA’s losses to fit the preconceived notion he seeks. When Richt wins it’s because of superior talent; when Saban wins it’s because of superior coaching. Go be a Bama fan, dude. You’ll fit right in.

      When I was at Rumble, we were called the Pimps. Is that bad? 13 year olds referring to themselves as pimps? Does that prove anything negative re: pedophilia in the South Davis Drive area? Did some of my friends grow up too fast or something?

      I do remember lots of ice cream trucks driving by, but I always just figured it was the hot middle Georgia weather. I was oblivious, but I guess it’s ok I didn’t get my ice cream for free like everybody else did.

        LOL. No, there was no pimping while I was there. No ice-cream truck either. The “Do-Drop In” was located just down the street past WRHS and the rear drive thru was often open after midnight on game nights……although I am only assuming that per rumors as I was more interested in getting rested to watch film and run on Sat. AM and to listen to Coach Orgel examine any shortcomings we might have had the night before.

    The ASU mascot sends different signals. Most devils have pitchforks. This one has a trident like there’s an ocean somewhere in south Arizona. It also has a Bob Crane pornstache which Bob may or may not have had prior to his hammer-time in Scottsdale. Which leads of course to Michael Jackson and Lane as Bubbles at Neverland, f/k/a the South Fork Ranch for Children and Primates in Southern California
