Are players that stupid this day and time? Yeah, sadly they are. All been high fiving each other since they were in rec ball. Never learned the rules and how to be smart between the lines.
Probably not one college student who did not do something dumb…like speeding and a ticket. Or maybe pass a car that was speeding and being chased by the law…thinking he won’t come after me and I don’t have the money to pay the fine. But when you been in trouble you should learn to be smart about your situation. Some of these guys are not street smart.
But here is the deal. You should be smart enough to get yourself out of trouble when you get it. Or at least know the dangers of the down side and get prepared or resolved before it gets bigger. When you have several guys who can not do that, well you will probably see a team of them that are 2-4.
Law enforcement is human. But respect their authority whether you like it or not. If you get caught pay up and go on. Do not make it into a major issue…like an arrest warrant.

I have no idea what your post has to do with the Texas Tech play…other than the fact that it’s in line with the generally pessimistic tone that you commonly exude. I only pray that this is your outlet for unhappiness and that elsewhere you exhibit some amount of joy for life.
