“I don’t care if I had a broken leg, I’m going to play in this game.”

On the other hand, motivation doesn’t seem to be much of a problem in Athens.

That’s why I’ve come to really love this kid. Stafford never publicly had that kind of attitude.

I, for one, can’t wait for Joe Cox to show the sort of leadership that Stafford lacked.

Seriously, the Stafford-bashing expiration date was a long, long time ago.

Agreed. Staff had/has plenty of heart. When was he ever questionable for a game so that he’d have to make an announcement like Murray did?

I think Murray’s a great kid and will continue to do great things at UGA, but we don’t need to put down Stafford to build up Murray.

      Start around 3:30.

I guess he can be a good scapegoat for our lack of success. If only he and Knowshon cared more about winning the sec than the nfl paycheck blah, blah, blah.

I don’t anyone here is really questioning his toughness. But sometimes he was a little too confidant in his arm strength. And really, if Stafford and Moreno had BVG coaching the Defense during these years, a NC probably would have not been out of the question.

Murray has been strong for us all year. I think he probably came into this season without much respect from the other players since he had not started a game and he is a redshirt freshman. However, after his performance this year I would expect he has a ton of goodwill built up with his teammates.

As well he should have. He has been the brightest light by far on this team, a warrior on the field. Now if only CMR will get rid of Van Halenger, get a new S&C regime in place 2 months from now to start the off-season so that our lines, and especially our O-line, can build up their strength and hold their own against South Carolina and Mississippi State, not get pushed around like a gaggle of confused, overweight girls. If we can turn the tables in thr trenches, this fall to next will be like Night into Day.

Aaron Murray, if I wasn’t certain that the NCAA would call it an impermissible benefit, I’d let you marry my sister.
