Or Gator Bowl committee, make this happen.  If nothing else, it ought to provide fodder for at least three good EDSBS posts.

Who says minor bowl games can’t be fun?

    They also predict us in B’ham which sucks. However, Seth E has been saying he thinks Memphis (less suck).

    I’m still kind of excited about the prospects of playing June Jones again. It could happen if we get the Memphis invite and SMU pulls the upset win this week in the C-USA title game. We’d be like a recurring nightmare for him.

      Either way, I think the Liberty Bowl is a nightmare. While I think we can out-athlete SMU, Jones’ schemes (throwing the ball all over creation) doesn’t exactly bode well for our weaknesses on defense. That said, I would hope we would own the LOS against either UCF or SMU. UCF has one of those scrambly qbs (or did) which would, of course, give us fits as well.

      We should be able to score at will on either, but, well, you know.

    If Florida plays the fighting Zookers in the Gator Bowl, I am fairly confident that Zook will rise to his normal level of incompetence and find a way to lose that game, in spite of how pathetic the Florida offense has become.

      There’s a distinct possibility Zook would get lost exiting the team bus, fall into a mud puddle and have to buy some Zubaz from a street vendor before appearing on the field just in time for kickoff.

      No way. Jacksonville is the only place where Zook won consistently before he got fired.

    I’m hoping for Memphis as it’s the easiest for me to get to from Houston. As for the nerds, I’ve seen them playing in Shreveport against the AFA. I reckon there would be about 1000 yards of rushing in that game if that happened.

    Wouldn’t mind seeing michigan’s Denard Robinson score in about 8 different ways against fl. Hate to see sec teams loose in bowl games, but I make exceptions for fl and ut.

    For clarification purposes, Irwin and Jeremy decide to deliver to Gator Bowl officials an old movie poster in an unmarked envelope that any supposed matchup of Irwin and Jeremy with Ron shall not occur.

    I would much rather see UGA in the Gator Bowl against Illinois than have the Dawgs play USF. Let’s have the Dawgs play Zook and let the Gators get gored.
