It’s money that they love.

Year2’s takedown of Jim Harbaugh’s BCS complaint is pitch perfect.

And I thought you had to be smarter than that to coach at Stanford.

The thing he is really upset about is the bowl system. 34 meaningless games that try to maximize their profit by picking teams with a strong fan base and 1 national championship game. If you ain’t in the championship game, then it sucks to be Stanford. Welcome to college football, Jim. He should come take over at UGA and we can help him out with his fan problem.

I wouldn’t mind seeing him in Athens either except that I feel he would leave Georgia for Michigan or an NFL job if offered.

People expected CMR to leave for FSU or UM.

You can’t base a hire on the fear someone may someday move on to greener pastures. You hire to win championships and quickly. I get so tired of this argument from UGA fans. Do you want a long term coach or a SEC/MNC? You could have both but which one do you want more?

I think the takedown is a bit harsh. His kids don’t get to play in the Rose Bowl because TCU has to go.

I’m thinking he probably does “get it” deep down. He’s taking an opportunity to put the writing on the wall for the Stanford fans so they will get it when he’s coaching over at Michigan in the next couple of years.

Is this reality any different from what Boise and TCU have faced all year? It is just bidness, right? Stanford and Michigan men should be aware of this at an earlier point in their life.
