Snarky comment of the morning

Phil Steele ranks Georgia 92nd nationally in percentage of tackles returning.  Depending on your perspective, that may not be such a bad thing.

At least we’re not Auburn at 116…

For quite some time now I have been a believer in the Garbage In, Garbage Out theroy. I have applied this therory to the defensive side of the football at Georgia. A safety that wore #9 comes to mind, and you are free to list any LB of recent note. I for one am glad we are witnessing large turnover on that side of the ball.

Reshad jones was often running to a play to cover someone’s elses missed assignment-thus flying through the air to try and make a play

much better safety then he gets credit for

Reshad still has no excuses for that ’09 Tech game. If he wraps up, we win. But no he (and everyone else, apparently) decided to shoulder tackle all day long which led to countless scores for Tech.

How do we rate in percentage of missed tackles returning?

Olivadotti needs to work wonders with our middle LB’s.

Rashad was a much better safety in 2010 than most people remember. before that he was prone to missed assignments and failing to wrap up. I still can’t believe he left a year early. He could have been a top 20 pick with any improvement over 2010 when he was fantastic

Do you feel Reshad Jones might have changed the outcomes of some of those close games that we lost in ’10? Arkansas perhaps?
