‘un-refreshed recollection’ sounds like a Lexicon entry if ever I heard one.

      +1

Cam Newton’s denial of having any knowledge of his father’s pay-for-play proposals was an ‘un-refreshed recollection’.

interesting thinking about quick throws and bobo’s criticism of murray last year that he held on to the ball too long. i never quite understood what bobo was talking about since as far as i could see the protections we used much of the year had our tight ends and backs blocking to help the o line while the receivers all ran intermediate and deep routes. in other words, bobo seemed to be criticizing his qb for not taking advantage of opportunities that the play calling rarely actually gave him. the7-yard passing game was there for us all season, but we almost never took advantage of it. i remember finding this very frustrating and even commented on it here a few times.

Even better is the “Ohio State 2010 memorial uniform” posted at the bottom of the Michigan blog. lol. Those Michigan uniforms look like something the women’s soccer team would wear.

Shouldn’t that persons blog say How Bout Them Dawgs instead of About Them Dawgs?

HAHA “Coach Fulmer knows how big business operates” Big is right, thank goodness he isn’t at this buffet or they’d be some serious overbuffeting lol

Travis, I think “About Them Dawgs” is an intentional deviation from “How ‘Bout Them Dawgs” because it’s a blog, you see, that is “About” them Dawgs, but it brings to mind the old rhetorical question with which we all are familiar.

I’d hate to see Georgia wear anything like that, but I also love throwback uniforms. If Michigan’s only going to wear those things once, I think they’ll look pretty cool. The problem with going too “old school” with football throwbacks is what the heck you’re going to do with the helmet. Now, if they’re going leather, then I’m going to pay whatever I have to pay to be in the Big House that day. Since they won’t, sticking with the modern helmet and a throwback uni is going to look kinda… dumb.

Interesting that one of the pictures the Michigan blog used was from the 1965 Dawgs win in the Big House. Michigan has a classic uniform. They should not go the clown route, even for one game. And especially not against another team like ND which also has a classic uni.

I like the contrasting Maize and Blue with the Georgia Red and Black. Understand that is what we should see in the Chick Fil A game this year. I have heard Boise will wear their blue and the Dawgs will wear home red. That I am looking forward to.

As long as Georgia wears the usual home uniform and not some Nike Pro-Combat monstrosity, I’m cool with it.

I’ll withhold judgment on the Michigan uniform until I actually see it. I will say that another problem with going way back with that uniform is that it wasn’t something that was worn with pads before. Might look stupid.

With that said, you’re right, those red jerseys and helmets do look beautiful in that picture from the Big House.

I see Georgia’s OL blocked the same way in 1965 as they did last year.

They blocked well enough to beat Mr. Yearby and his Rose Bowl Champs in the Big House 15-7, two weeks after beating defending and pending National Champ Bama Between the Hedges.
