Lost moments in snarkdom

I owe you guys an apology.  I don’t know how I missed this story at the time…

There was also the rumors that Urban Meyer told a recruit that he had a dream of coaching him and it was what brought him out of retirement the first time he quit.

… ’cause I damn sure would have had a blast with it.  Mea culpa.

I remember when that quote leaked, it also ran with some items where Meyer was using faith & praying in his conversations with recruits. Pissed me off at the time; I was thinking, if any coach is entitiled to use his relationship with the big G as a recruiting tactic, it’s OUR HC, not Meyer. By any means necessary, that was the Corch.

    Urban Meyer = John Edwards.

    Slimy, sleezy and slick.

Made Spurrier look like a choir boy.

Sharrif Floyd, the DT from Penn is the one who Urban told that he had a dream. Ohio State was his leader and was going to commit when he got a text message from Urban that basically said he had a dream of coaching him on the football field, that if he died, then that was God’s plan. Sharrif committed to Florida, pretty saying that any coach that was “willing” to die for me is who I want to commit to. Floyd and Meyer have denied that happening, but Ohio State insiders had seen the texts.
