So Boise State now officially only plays a one-game schedule

“And Georgia fans, don’t be turds. Enjoy this. Soak it up. It’s awesome. If you don’t win this year, it’s still not a failure. It’s a heck of a run. Back-to-back in the Playoff era hasn’t been done. So, to ask for a third I feel like it’s gluttonous. I feel like it’s not OK. But we’ll be in the mix.”-- David Pollack, On3.com, 5/9/23

And TCU went down too.

I believe that was the underlying point of the tweet.

Don’t worry. Take a look at TCU’s schedule. They will probably run the table from here and Boise, should they win tonight, will still point to beating TCU as beating a 10-win team*
*TCU would have to beat Boise and BYU to get to ten wins, and you know if TCU beats BYU and loses to Boise the WWL will say “Well, Boise beat a team that beat BYU!”

That’s plausible, actually. However, a team that gives up 50 to Baylor, even with Griffen, is probably not going to be impressive enough the rest of the way that beating them will impress anyone.

But their field is blue. The media loves them. Their field is blue.

So TCU is a threat to the Broncos. Does that now make Baylor better than us? I think not. Let’s smother, cover, and chunk these spuds like a short order cook at Waffle House.

Most of the Bert’s chili I’ve consumed in my lifetime tastes like horse meat already.

ESPN’s narrative won’t change, no matter what. On the Scott Van Pelt radio show yesterday, Scott’s co-host (can’t remember his name) criticized all of these fans who are just waiting for Boise to stumble. He claimed that a loss in a game like this will not mean that Boise doesn’t belong in the picture – it actually means very little. Of course, we all know that if they win today, it will mean a LOT to SVP and his fellow network nitwits.
They’re hedging already so that they win either way.

SVP is actually a Dawg supporter. He loves Richt and Athens. Ryen Russillo his moron co-host is the Boise lover.

What happened to TCU’s defense?

What “defense”? And Baylor will be their next midmajor….until they get wiped out or their QB detained. Let’s see, didn’t TCU have the best D and BS was second in the country? I could easily be wrong, but if Boise’s secondary is anything like TCU’s or Baylor’s then Murray will be the new topic of conversation next week.
