Misery loves company.

Adversity brings out something in my reader base, as August and September turned out to be the two most heavily trafficked months I’ve had here at GTP.  Last month was the first time I’ve averaged more than 11,000 hits per day.

Promise you won’t leave if things get better.

Two things here: Levelheaded analysis (other sites went downhill in a flaming ball of hysteria and fire Richt now mania) as well as a still somewhat rational and often hilarious comments section (dawgvent completely unreadable).

    Look now I’ve jinxed it.

11,000 hits per day! Wow! But I think a few minor adjustments are in order. First, we should throw to the FB and TE’s more often. We need to cover the wheel route better. Where’s the punt coverage team? You call that an offensive line? Crowell should get the ball 40+ times per game. But he jaws too much! And he’s out of shape! In fact, everybody is out of shape, except Lynch – and we don’t play him. And CMR should lead the team when they run on the field. And…..

Senator, we could never leave you!! Thank you for your dedication and keep up the good work.

BTW, a friend of mine is a died in the wool Crimson Tide Whatever They and has almost no interest in the Dawgs. He reads your site and says it’s one of the best blogs on college football he’s ever read.

I’ll join the lovefest, Senator…not only are your pearls of wisdom dropped in small morsels but your readers show a propensity to cut to the meat of any blog and spark thinking peppered with witicisms. Keep it up and on to 15,000!!
