That win looks a lot better now.

Granted, Ole Miss does have a helluva punt team.  But how bad are things for the Nuttster to be getting patronized by a guy who used to coach Iowa State for a living?

      Maybe so, but Chizik needs to move his game up a level or two to be mentioned with Vince. “The best 2-5 team in the country” just doesn’t have the art and savoir faire of “They have the finest pooch punter we’ve faced all year.”

        I was born too late to fully appreciate Vince, but my favorite one that I read was complimenting the long snapper for … was it William and Mary?

          I thought that was a Vince quote too and wrote as much on this venue. I was severely corrected as to the original author…one Lewis Grizzard.

          I think it went something like, “William and Mary is tough because we have to play BOTH of them.”

    You know, I realize that Fresno State hasn’t been the giant-killer lately (actually, I guess they really only were a giant-challenger back in the day) but Pat Hill really should be ashamed of letting Nutt’s outfit come into his house and beat him. Ole Miss showed some life last weekend against Arkansas, but we all saw how that turned out. Ole Miss is beyond atrocious.

      What a shame. Vandy used to only be an embarassment to the SEC on the field of play. Now all of a sudden they’re Da U. Of all schools to be assholes to, Army. Really? It’s a shame how quickly they’ve ruined their squeaky clean reputation. What’s next? Jordan Rodgers caught driving Mudcat’s car?
